Cheaper, Smaller PS2 coming

I'll buy another PS2 for $100. I sold my last slim one for $150 before the price drop to 139.99.

They've gone on record as saying that dropping the PS1 as quickly as they did was a huge mistake. They're going to keep milking the PS2 as long as they can.

I'm personally hoping they make a new portable screen to go along with the redesign. We missed out on getting the PSOne+screen 🙁

Hehe. Exactly. Maybe Sony will sell a bundle; a 40GB PS3 with a new, new PS2 duct taped to it for backwards compatibility.

I have been wanting to pick up a ps2 for some of the more popular games. God of war 1/2. Kingdom Hearts etc. Also, to play some older ps1 games

Unless they changed the hardware for the drive, I don't think load times would be affected.

I think a $100 PStwo that you can buy an attachable LCD for would be awesome! Maybe next year?

I have that now. I put my ps2 slim on the top side of my portable DVD player that has an A/V input. Great little portable system. Even hooked up the leads of a LT battery to power the PS2.
