Cheap upgrade

I'm trying to improve performance on my pc. Money is very tight. I managed to scrape up (beg my wife for) 60 for an upgrade of some kind on my pc. This is enough for and extra 512MB of ram or a cheap vid card ( I'm currently subsisting on a crappy SiS IGP). So...Ram or vid card? Which will boost my performance most?

If you play games, onboard video (that's what you have, right?) is definetly no good. You can get a used geforce 4 video card for around $40 or less in the forsale/trade forums which should be a big improvement.

If you have 512m of ram already, there's no real need to upgrade until you get a better video card (for games).
