Cheap-Skates (Non)-Anonomyous

Just dial...10-10....What's the rest?? 😛

Ask you friend if he's willing to change new tires if they wear out? Or is he gonna rethread it himself using blades?? 😀

<< What is this save you speak of? >>

Just want to hear unbridled stories of cheap-skatedness. Being so cheap as to bring tears of laughter to the eyes. I'm still thinking of one suitable for myself, but I'd like to see someone cheaper than the freind I described.

Had an ex-friend who serially invited himself to dinner parties and then when the check arrived claimed he had no wallet, left it at home, was robbed en-route and on and on. All this with no hint of embarrassment. It was great.

I actually saved a dollar.....

when i was working a water park last year, i saw a dollar stuck at the bottom of the pool. I didnt go as far as jumping in after it i just used a skimmer and got it. It was cool looking too since it had been in chlorinated water and it was almost white 🙂

Well. when being frugal is a necessity its amazing what you will do, my two most memorable efforts were:
1) I used to grate pure soap and melt it with water to make a gel that I soaked the kids cloth diapers in.
2) I used to use baking soda for cleaning everything you could think of, from the oven to the bath tub.
