VERY nice find! Whats strange is that the regular Nikon 800 page does not show the $75 rebate, but the deal of the day page does. However, they reduced the regular price by another $70. Good deal.

The Deal of the Day is actually right on the hompage. If you go to http://www.buy.com and look in the upper right corner, you'll see a box that says "DEAL OF THE DAY" etc.

Nice find! I was thinking about buying, but I think I am going to wait for one with a USB connection and uses Smartmedia istead of compactflash. It is tempting though.

You don't need the USB version, just grab a USB card reader, it works the same. That's what I have, Coolpix 800 with USB Reader. Never had to hook the camera to the computer. Just love it.

Yeah, but I still want a camera that uses smartmedia. I have picked up a few cards for other devices ( and I already have a usb reader)so it would be easier to use the cards I already have instead of buying new ones.
