Cheap MP3 Player!

SSP

Lifer
This is a pretty cool Mp3 player (plays Mp3's from CDR's). Anyone tried it yet? Beats paying 200 bucks for 32Mb MP3 players when you can have 650MB's worth of MP3's. 🙂

Part of the novelty of having an mp3 player is not having to worry about cd skips, scratches, cost of cds, bulky size, etc. Can you imagine a DVDR mp3 player with skip proof tech?... Nice post, just don't want people to forget the pro's of standard mp3 players.

Very good point. 🙂 A friend of mine have an RCA Lyra, and it's pretty cool. But the reviewer said they couldn't get the player to skip cd's. In anycase, I prefer Mini disk players over the regular MP3 players. 🙂

Its just that this MP3 CD player is very good for the price. 🙂

i aggree with soccerman and SSP, its a lot more cheaper, and skiping dosent seem to be a problem for me, im not too violent with my cdplayer.

I've been looking for an CD/MP3 Player, too. To (just) buy another Sony CD Player w/40 sec ESP just won't hack it w/me.

I've been looking at these here:

MP3/CD Players

But, I've also heard of a Memorex CD/MP3 Player Model MPD 8500 being sold at Target stores for $99 US.

I was looking for a portable MP3/CD player..But these first generation ones just arent good enough yet. Most only have 4 buttons, Play, Stop, Forward, Backward. Try navigating through 120-150 songs like that. Plus theres no ID3 support.

I decided to get a regular CD player and save about $50 bucks. I got an Aiwa

They play CDDA on RW's and I have a nice burner so its fine for me.. Anyone know have any experience with one of these? Im not sure you can buy them in store in Canada, at least not in my city.. So I ordered one from a Yahoo! Store.. 3 days now without confirmation.. I'll be giving them a call tomorrow..

I've got Creative Noamd II MG. This player kicks ass, it's small, and got the richest feature set I've ever seen. The only problem is that control buttons are a bit inconvinient, however, this should be fixed by release of Wired Remote Control.

I don't see why a big name company hasn't put out a cd/mp3 player yet. Besides the kenwood(?) car deck, I haven't really seen any out there.

I found a Canadian store who's taking back order for these stuff. Link

I like the Napa one too (but looks a bit square-ish) 😉
