Newegg has a 6 hour special today, live from 9A-3P PT, or 12N-6P ET.

EVGA Z68 FTW motherboard, $59.99 after $25 MIR. Currently, the board's listed at $124.99 w/$25 MIR, but between the hours listed above, the price will automatically decrease to $89.99 and retains the $25 MIR, giving $59.99 final cost. FS, too.

Board's an extended ATX, 6GB/s SATA, USB 3.0, just no PCIe 3.0. Darned nice board even being the last gen. chipset, esp. for use with a Sandy Bridge, a cpu that cannot "turn on " PCIe 3.0 on a Z77 board anyway.

EVGA also has the Z68 SLI motherboard for $49.99 after $10 MIR. Again, darned nice motherboards for SB cpus given what is in the price range.

Big warning, EVGA does not support ivybridge with the Z68 boards.

Worse they do not list this on their website  but if you checked out the forums or newegg reviews even their reps say this in response to bad reviews.

It is called planned obsolescence, all it needs is a simple bios update but evga purposefully does not want to do this update so you will instead buy a z77 board from them if you ever upgrade. Their is a reason these boards are this price.

-----------

So good for 2500k or other sandybridge cpu, not good for ivybridge

Actually, both Newegg's detail page for the motherboard states this and on EVGA's product page for this motherboard, under the Prod Specs link (upper right corner), lists cpu compatibility for SB cpus only.
