i'd get the x25-v 40gb (37usable) or a used x25-m 80gb(74 usable) both can be had for $80

stay away from sandforce. C300 is not bad but intel will not let you down.
 
If you are in an area with low noise floor, definitely think about building a system that is very quiet. SPCR is a good resource for which components are measured to output the least amount of noise.

Quite frankly, when watching a movie and there is a quiet passage, nothing bothers me more than a click click from the harddrive or vacuum cleaner noise coming from the fans of the computer.
 
Something else to look into is just getting 1 4gig slab of memory. That CPU only has a single channel memory controller so dual slabs are not required.
 
but ram is so cheap you might as well buy it and leave it in there. ram will go up up up dude 8gb for $39 - just do it. run 64 bit. enjoy
