I too wish to punch things when i buy mach 3 razors... but to be honest 20 bucks an 8 pack isn't that terrible a deal.

I think it takes me a year to go through 8 mach 3 razor heads.

If they were made of titanium, I would crap myself and call the current prices a bargain.

They have a "titanium-like finish." Which is like saying an orange colored car is made of oranges.

Also in my experience, mach3 and the new fusion don't last for more than 3 shaves. After 3 shaves, it hurts to use them.

Geez, you mustn't have much of a beard then. I go through a blade in about 1.5-2 weeks.

I gave up on the mach 3, even at costco and Wholesale clubs the cost of blades was stupid...I now go old school with a double edge razor, ten blades is like $3, the downside is it is a blade every week and takes a little longer to shave in the AM but the quality of the shave is about as good. Personally if sticking with a cartridge razor I liked the sensor better than the mach anyway.

Where does one get a DE razor? I want to try it.

Go visit the forums at Shave My Face and post a thread that you are interested in getting started wetshaving. You'll have people offering you razors, blades and anything else shaving related for free before you know it, as well as lots of advice on how to get a good shave from your DE. Nicest bunch of guys on the net.

no they're not. But the turbos are coated in Teflon I think.

FWIW - you can wet shave simply by using your Gillett in the shower.
I ahev been shaving my face in the shower for 20 years.
You really don't need a mirror.

Mach 3 ftw. the blades are expensive, but not so much as those 5bladed razors, and they seem to last me a while.
