Cheap Gaming Build

Building a computer is SOOOO hard...

😛

It was all overwhelming to take in back than but I think I've learned alot.

Seems fine if you count the rebate on the GTX 460. You can get the 7200.12 1TB for $75 at Amazon though.
Nice! Definitely gonna get that that HDD, thanks!

Swap the Asrock to a 3-year warranty Biostar board ($58).

us.ncix.com has free shipping on orders >$50, I'd get these two from there:
RAM Mushkin 8GB $33 AR
Case Antec 300 $45

Corsair CX430V2 only has one PCIe connector, you'll want two for that GTX460. CX500 V2 $35 after promo and rebate

See if you can find a better HDD deal via http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/internal-hard-drive/#sort=a7&t=2,4,1&f=0&s=8,6,11,7,5,10,4,19,17
Ahh, thanks for the heads up on the CX430!

That is a good price on the CX500. The CX430 has enough amps on the 12V for a GTX 460 so you can also just use a molex to PCIe adapter (a couple come with the card).

Barely... Only 336W. GTX 460 can use well over 200W when overclocked, add to that the CPU and you're already almost maxing it out.

Anyone have any recommendations for a Gaming Keyboard? Preferably relatively cheap.

I'm thinking of getting the Microsoft Sidewinder X4...

Keyboards are like mice. Its a personal preference thing. I'm not into programable keyboards but I do like ones that have keys that light up. I been using nothing but Saitek Eclipse last several years. Ever since they first came out. I think they are up to version 3.0 now. I'm still using their 2nd gen the Saitek Eclipse II on all my machines. They are not what I consider cheap though. To me cheap means something less than $20. A basic 101 keyboard can be had for $10 and sometimes less. What is your budget for a keyboard? And how programable do you want it?
