Every so often I get the feeling NewEgg's prices and service is slipping. Then I'm forced to order from someplace else, for whatever reason, and realize just how much better Newegg is compared to the competition. 🙂

My copy of STALKER shipped, I probably won't do much more than benchmark as I found the original unpalatable. Already own R6v2 and FC2 so no need for those, so whoever got the last copies, enjoy! 😉

Clean Sky is an awesome game with very good atmosphere including voice acting. FarCry2 is another excellent game. And the majority of us know that NewEgg has excellent customer service .. that is, if your are nice and do not act crazy or demanding with their reps

Lol.. I didn't play STALKER multiplayer or mods, and plot is quite important in single-player game. S:SoC was <...> authentic! Stalkers' jokes, bandits' cussing, military lingo... It was well written and properly delivered by the actors. Together with VERY authentic landscape and buildings it was really great immersion experience... S:CS though feels fake - NPCs talk like some pedophiles, the world is much worse scripted with much less random AI vs. AI fights and with enemies appearing from thin air behind your back. Yeah, they added repair and upgrade feature and invisible artifacts and fast travel but it's nowhere close to SoC.

I feel the opposite. I could not get into Stalker: SOC because the English translation is one of the worst I have encountered. I'm talking FF7 "This guy are sick" bad. Really ruined the atmosphere for me.

It was a horrible translation. Even the massive Oblivion Lost mod did not fix all of the issues. It is like they did not even run it through a spell checker. In one paragraph, one could find the same word spelled three different ways.
