Cheap/Free Local Phone #? (Voice and VM or just VM)

I set up an LLC and need a phone number for it, I wanted a cheap and easy way to do it - I think GrandCentral (GoogleVoice) did it for free, but as far as I know it's invite only and/or the invites are not available right now.

Is there an easy and cheap and/or free way to just set up a local phone number and just attach voicemail to it?

I'm looking for something cheaper and easier if you can believe that 😛. I dont really want to add hardware to a computer.

I will rephrase. Not so much cheaper, easier.

Something I can just sign up for online and not have any hardware to deal with.
 
magic jack is the bomb... it's so easy to install, i didn't even have to provide tech support for my parents.
