Yes, they are dumping United as their sole client (they were flying feeder routes) and striking out on their own as a low-fare carrier.

Not too bad... this is going to be great for flights going out of Dulles. I remember hearing that Dulles will soon have the largest number of value flights out of it. This is great since driving 5 minutes to dulles is much better than the trek to Reagan or BWI (blech).

Saw about the new airline on our Nashville news last night. I wish I could get a flight as cheap as I did last year (May). Flew from Nashville to Chicago for $68 roundtrip from a special on SW's website.

Some of the dates and cities are wrong in royaldank's message so check out the site. They claim that they will not overbook and their walk up fares are still pretty good.
