Kicking myself for not picking up the Fujis last week. What's everyone's second choice?

Hastings has a 30 spindle of memorex cdrs for $8.99 - $8MIR so you get them for a $1. Not the greatest deal in the world, but you don't have to shell out much either to get them.

I also missed the Fujis thanks to the flu. Should have just ordered them online.... Any of these worth picking up?

Which brands have plain designs on the discs? I don't like the generic or store brands because they usually have dark bold lettering which show through the CD label. The Fujis are great--all silver.

Don't forget that Staples have 50 pack Maxell CDRs for $13+tax-$10 MIR. These are 650 MB discs with gold tops and no dark lettering.

I think the Imations (CMCs) are plain silver... they're pretty decent for nonTY. The Memorexes are usually plain gold... are these still Riteks?

hrmm any fuji's I've ever bought(mostly the ones wrapped in blue plastic from target) have been multi colored, they have about 5 colors and you get 10 of each.

If you can wait, the Fuji deals happen almost every other week at BB.

Also, I think you can distinguish between the muti-color/solid silver Fujis by the outside wrapping. I think the multi-colors indicate that they are multi-color.

Memorex is also TY. I got a 50pk when it was on sale at BestBuy. I checked for 'made in Japan'. I checked the cds with cdrIdentifier and they are TY. :)

Does anybody know which 100pk Memorex is being sold at Circuit City? Is it the normal 'data' cdrs or the 'audio' cdrs? I'm picky and would prefer my cds to not say 'audio' on the label if they're not audio. :p

I picked up the Precision CDRs at BB--they don't have any colored words so they'll be great for my labels! And Kokomo is right--the Imations are also all silver.

The Precision CDRs are made in Taiwan. Anyone know if they're good?

I got the Fry's After Xmas sale $4.50 for 50pk of 48x GQ (Great Quality.. LoL). I've never had a problem with cheapo discs, so I don't bother getting anything else... Anyway, these GQ's are perfectly blank, kind of a platinum color. Wish I had one of those burners that does the Tattooing on the labelside. ;)
