If you must have new and must stick to around $50, then the 5670 that Termie linked (currently $50 after a $10 rebate though there's also $3 shipping) is the best you can get. You cannot get anything better without going used.

I probably should've also mentioned that i want something that is somewhat low power, not loud, and doesn't get super hot.

Also lets make the budget more around $70.

I agree, the 5670 or 6670, nothing else will get you any better performance new at that price. Make sure they are GDDR5 cards and NOT GDDR3 or the older 4670 - those cards are a lot slower than the 5670 and 6670 GDDR5 versions.

Very quiet, very cool, very low power (no PCI-E power connector required).

EVGA 01G-P3-N988-TR GeForce 9800 GT Video Card - 1024MB DDR3, PCI Express 2.0, DVI, HDMI, VGA

$69 and $49 after rebate.

I'm pretty sure a 9800GT is still very capable in games. This is the cheapest one i've seen new.

Actually, I'd stay away from that card. It's a downclocked version of the original. Plus it runs hotter and way less efficiently than a 6670, which is about it's equal in performance.

alright so my budget is at $100 now. Top suggestions for gaming video card, doesn't get too hot, and plays newest games?( i play games in windowed mode, not full screen, if that helps).

There's a Powercolor 6770 for $90AR at NCIX. (Can't link, on phone.)

Can you deal with rebates? Newegg has Radeon 6790's for $110 AR and GeForce 550Ti's for $100 AR. Those are decent choices.

You missed most of the best deals. The $80AR 550ti/6770 offers probably aren't coming back for a while.

A 4870 will trade blows with a 5770, but generally be a tiny bit faster.
Its not as power effecient, and Im not sure how well it overclocks compaired to the 5770/6770's that overclock really well.

If you can find a 460 from nvidia for cheap, those would be a tiny bit faster again than the 5770s.
