Do you see any glaring problems or have any recommendations on what I should get? I will probably pick up a cheap video card later for light gaming, probably something like an HD4670 or GT240. I have an external DVD drive.

Is used an option? you can put together some pretty sick deals if you go used, especially in the "low end" market.

Other than that though, the build looks solid. I'm using teh same MB and proc on my machine right now, its pretty sick honestly (moved from an e8400). its disgusting whats considered "entry level" or "low end" nowadays :O

that case/mobo combo now has free shipping, pull the trigger on that now!

It had free shipping earlier in the week as well. I pulled the trigger this morning when shipping was $9.99!

Fortunately, Newegg's customer service is awesome, and after speaking to a CSR, she agreed to refund the shipping charges to my card when my order arrives.

I'm excited, can't wait to put it together!

Agree with Chapbass. Video cards have a typical lifespan of 3-5 years depending on how heavy the usage is. If you can get a 1 year old card, you might be able to save 20% - 30% off the retail price.
