Anyone know of any cheap 1U chassis w/ 2 PCI openings? Also, what PCI risers will I need in order to use both PCI? Anyone tried fitting the Acorp mobo on sale at ComputerGeeks in a 1U chassis? I appreciate your time.

I've been trying to do alot of research on a 1U chassis, and from what i gather, i Haven't seen any 1u's that can hold 2 pci devices with a riser card. There just isn't the room. you best best is finding a board with onboard lan and getting a pci video card to use in the riser. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks for the insight...I came to that conclusion too after of couple days of research...I guess I'll have to look into onboard video/LAN...

I think this is the case that I'm gonna get. it's alluminum with 7 case fans, and it's only $140. It's the best i've seen for the price. one internal 3.5, and external 3.5 and 5.25 inch bays. it also comes with a pci riser card. and the sparkle power supply from newegg would make a good fit with nice cooling also. there are others on the www.servercase.com site that may suite your needs too.

let me know if i can be of any more help.

I found no luck in the "cheap" and "rackmount" categories. The $140 sounds great, except for the AGP.

Take a look at This 2U case. It has a version that provides an AGP riser as well. As you can see, pricing is not as nice, but it seems to be about the going rate for a 2U case. I still hope to buy one, but not for a while. :(
