And I work straight-commission, which is basically self-employed but with a W-2. I don't get paid to post. Hell, I don't even get minimum wage.

One word, LAZY. Life is 99% perspiration 1% inspiration. Sure having a head start or rich helps but it can hurt just as much. One of my brothers for one... 10K here and there from my parents never helped keep him out of jail or off drugs. It wasnt until my parents totally cut him off emotionally and financially for about four years he made a change, at almost 40. I know illegals who are pretty wealthy knowing little english and I doubt they went past 8th grade. How? Perspiration and attitude.


I'm on the same side as you as far as some redistribution of power and wealth is nessesary for a true meritocracy to work as it does in USA but Chavez is on the wrong side of this and he's no FDR. Chavez, alone, can now get rid of judges who rule against him, not the congress as was FDR's case. Shut down media who talk against him which FDR never did. Take land from those who don't support him etc all without any sort of due process.
