We all like to talk about what movies we've seen and what we thought of them. What kind of things do you think people in the past 10 centurys have talked about? Pick a century and comment.

Uhhhh... the further back you go the more the location of the people are going to matter...

edit: homework?

1000-1400 - feudal oppression

1800s in America would be interesting, I like the wild west. Maybe shooting varmits? Or working the land?

2000's
--Only idiots, and possibly perverts, would choose the life of politics.
1900's
--Haha! look at those fools collapse around us! we'll show them how to lead a nation!
1800's
--I have said it before and I shall say it again: any government wrought by man is destined to fail. ...Was that a cannon shot?
1700's
--Surely those rascally rebels deign to establish a greater government than what we gave them? Good luck to them, lo they shall need it!
1600's
--Methinks the savages in the New World have greater sense than those of our parliament!
1500s

--what glorious art and structure the lord hath bestowed upon our artists! If only he had been so kind to the minds of our parliament!
1400s
--Our people hath abandoned us! The Lord hath no council, for our King hath destroyed him! Why do the fools lead us unto disaster?
1300s
--Our council has allowed this pox upon our nation; their small minds and appeal to the old gods has angered the Lord!
1200's
--It appeareth that the Lord hath cursed our nascent parliament with small minds.
1100's
--these heathens in council still worship the heretic Gods! Our lord will set them right, for they do not represent us!
1000's
--The men of council have quaffed an amount of meade to rival Odin!

Not that much different from us. Their jobs suck, their mates don't appreciate them, their coworkers are lazy bums, they are underpaid, their leaders are incompetent fools and corrupt to the core.

The Future
Nothing, because these are the end times.

My turn.

1400s - Christopher, you ever wish we could find a land that has never seen white people before and they'll worship us.

Yeah that's going to happen when I shit monkey's out of my ass, Miguel.

The time period of the ancient aliens would have been a blast.

People talked about politics and conquering the world and building a greater nation.

Today, we've all been pacified and now only a select few do the above, while the rest of us watch football and drink beer. People of the past were much smarter.

Nah... most men probably spent most of the efforts drinking beer and chasing women in the past as well. It's just that the thoughts of those men didn't survive history because they weren't considered notable.
