i noticed that most of the forums i visit all run an interface that looks strikingly similar to others... like this forum looks alot like justlinux, and so forth. I was wondering if there were common freeware or opensource programs cirulating. if so, what are they? thanks
 
This forum is running FuseTalk, but it's not free nor is the ColdFusion server that it runs on.

phpBB is a common system and is free as is XMB.
