Chase won't stop calling me

They've called about 10 times+ asking for someone that doesn't live here. It's something about a business card. I told them to take my number off their list every time but they keep calling. What sucks is that it's an automated call and I actually have to wait for an operator.

There's so many numbers listed on the Chase site so I don't know which to call. Any suggestions on what to do?

Most states, if not the Fed, have rules/laws where they will get fined and/or you can sue if they keep calling after you tell them to stop. Record them calling every time and also make sure you say to remove the number and what your full name and phone number is.

Start by filling a complaint with the FCC and also is your nuber on the do not call? If so file a complaint there as well.

Tell them that you are the person they are asking for and have them close the account.

Are you on the do not call list?

If you are, and have no business relationship with them, threaten to file a complaint.

You could just hang up. There is some satisfaction in that.

Change your phone number. Block their calls. Talk to the phone company and tell them you're getting calls of a harassing nature.

You could mess with their minds some. Tell them the person they want is dead and that Chase is handling the liquidation of their estate. Point out what idiots they are.

Indeed, tell them that you want all further phone calls to cease, and any further communication to be conducted by mail.

Make sure you record the conversation.

Any calls made by Chase after that are worth big money for each offense.

You by law must inform them that you are recording the call. As soon as you tell them they will drop the call.
