He was my favorite actor. 🙁

And right before Passover, too - Watching The Ten Commandments won?t be the same.

He was in some of my all-time favorite movies:

The Ten Commandments
Planet of the Apes
The Omega Man
Soylent Green
Airport 1975
Earthquake
Midway
Gray Lady Down
Crash Landing: The Rescue of Flight 232

I honestly did not even know he was sick 🙁

I remember reading some reviews on RT about "I am Legend". Someone actually thought that Will Smith was a better actor that CH. I don't know what he was smoking ... they broke the mold after Heston. There will never be another like him.

He was definately a good actor, but everytime I saw him, it was his stage presence that really blew me away. With the combination of his voice and delivery, who cares if he ccould cry into a corner or not (*cough* Halle *cough*).

Oh, and I just remembered (got reminded) that he played Michelangelo, which was great.

I wonder if Man, that marvel of the universe, that glorious paradox who has sent me to the unknown... still makes war against his brother, and lets his neighbor's children starve.

RIP
