Shooter is probably more zoned in on getting a clean shot quickly, not going to be hanging out waiting to be discovered by someone or have something else go wrong just because they need Kirk to say the magic words or something.

That was an incredibly stupid thing to say. How do you think we ended World War II? Harsh language? The utility of force is real, it's why it is used that counts. Violence is why there is still a Ukraine!

Question: if I do a search on this forum for your livid outrage over the murders of Minnesota's Melissa Hortman and her husband, by a right wing nutjob with a hit list, will I find this same level of self-righteous indignation? You know, back in June? Dressed as a cop? Also tried to murder Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, instead critically wounded both? Ring any bells?

What do you think guys? Should we place some bets? :grin:

So the murder of the firefighter that just happened to be standing behind Trump in the PA assassination attempt. That was staged, so the shooter and the unlucky firefighter that was standing behind Trump were murdered, solely to make trump look like a badass.

There was a time to start shooting in 1938 Germany, but they had already been disarmed, and perhaps it is now our time, before we are disarmed.

I'm like uh, what about starting in the 4th grade, JFK, then I think RFK, then Martin Luther King before I was even out of Jr. High School Yes, this is the country you and I grew up in!

Do I need to qualify that with "within our country"? I'd bet you'd like to see an uprising against the current gov't though. As for WW2, Europe wasn't our problem. But FDR was a war hawk.

Good luck getting rid of the 2nd amendment. Places may do their best to limit firearm access but don't count on much of the country (area wise) trying to disarm their citizens.

I was expecting a pathetic attempt at a dodge, and I was not disappointed. Next time try being honest, I can at least respect that.

Personally what I think you need to do is give up, because you really suck at this. No one gives a fuck about what outrage addicts think, certainly not dishonest ones.

“An open forum for political dialogue and disagreement was upended by a horrific act of targeted violence,” Walz said. He made the post before the report of Kirk's death. “In America, we don’t settle our differences with violence or at gunpoint. I’m praying for Charlie, his family, and his young children.”

The attack on Kirk comes three months after the politically targeted assassination of Minnesota Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and the attempted assassination of Sen. John Hoffman, DFL-Champlin, his wife, Yvette, and their daughter, Hope. “This type of political violence cannot continue. We all need to pray for Charlie Kirk,” GOP Majority Whip, Tom Emmer, said on X Wednesday.


Remember when the GQP liked to proudly proclaim how large numbers of conservative Americans felt violence may be necessary, to "save America"? Yeah, good luck with your coming victim routine.
