Have you ever hunted Deer?
I shot a deer with a Remington 700 rifle in the 30-06 Caliber at about 75 yards. The bullet entered on the left side of the rib cage, passed through the heart and lungs it didn't hit any ribs or bones then stayed between the skin and the muscle on the opposite side of the entry point and corkscrewed around his body and ended up by his left rear hip.
Bullets do strange things sometimes....
