I'm pretty sure this is a "Michael Scott declares bankruptcy" move because I don't believe there are any provisions about designating organizations as domestic terrorism groups. As far as I saw reading people discussing this, that type of action is only available for foreign terrorism groups.

Basically and also another example of how Trump is now permanently stuck in 2020. The NG deployments are about the George Floyd protests. Five years on and he's still mentally cocooned in the WH PEOC cowering simmering in fear and anger.

He can try to go after all the people he wants. DOJ seems to be stretched thin thanks to layoffs and removing any sort of prosecutorial discretion, and now they're getting "no true bill"ed in cases where people even admitted they did something (see: Subway sandwich thrower).

If I ended up on a jury my base assumption would be that the DOJ (and their witnesses) are lying their asses off and I would make my decisions accordingly. They are not entitled to the presumption of good faith anymore.

Juries, both petit (trial) and grand, are important checks on prosecutors, and we shouldn't try to get out of serving in them, even if it can be inconvenient.

I was happy to do my day of jury service a few months ago in MA. Didn't get called for a trial that day, but I see it as fulfilling civic obligations and what we owe society as a whole.

They learned about in from Facebook, so I have been documenting all of the comments, a few that were threatening. There have been phone calls, some even stupid enough to leave a voicemail and of course we have phone numbers. The cops will be called against the threats. Last week the cops took her statement, sighed, and said they didn't think her comments warranted the harassment. The two local cops are conservatives, but we know them, and we donate to the local police and the fire department. I am happy to report that they seem to be doing their job despite their political beliefs, however I feel that many in the area are slowly learning that Trump and his supporters are trash. In our last election here in Wisconsin the Dems recaptured the state supreme court in a typically red state. Trump flag flying is way down, and I am heartened to see more rainbow flags and signs up.

I think in the midterms we will see a big blue wave, and Trump will become impotent except for his executive orders which are toothless. In summary, fuck all you Trump supporters, if I say so myself. We will all be alright and the fascists will lose. Thoughts and prayers!

I wish to provide an update to this. The guys that threatened my wife were let off with a warning instead of a trespassing citation, with an explanation by the local cop that they never try that shit again. My wife is more lenient than I am.

A local lawyer has also been given the same treatment by the same Facebook people harassing my wife for expressing his views. One of the commenters even asked for violence, again I cannot believe the stupidity of conservatives. For folks that say fuck your feelings they sure get butt hurt easily. My wife's business is doing well despite losing 30 clients, only two of those really were good ones to start with. I emailed the lawyer being harassed, and he asked me to call him after work, apparently he is going to respond with cease and desist letters and then the threat of suing for libel. He knows that these people will have to spend money to defend themselves, and it's worth a try.

I thought the same thing but tried it, he starts by saying the murder of Kirk was heinous, explains why but then says the canonization of Kirk is disgusting and explains why in no uncertain terms. I did not finish it, went to 2:07 of the 8:52.

Edit: Then finished it. He's unsparing in his criticism and loathing of Kirk and Trump, etc. I recommend watching it.

I finished it, watch it, don't judge it by the title, it doesn't convey the essence and message. He is unsparing of his criticism of Kirk and Trump. He deplores violence but explains how Kirk and Trump were/are all about inciting it. Nobody's making you @Fenixgoon watch it, suit yourself. However, I recommend anybody visiting this thread to watch it.

MMmmm .. that might work out to your advantage though, in terms of precedence and all that.

Cause what is the real organizational difference between ANTIFA and MAGA right? There is none.

So if you ever manage to get back to power, and have the balls to gag and bitch slap the SC around, you could simply designate MAGA as a terrorist organization (which it is) and roll the NG out to round them up in camps for deprogramming. - in a 1-to-1 copy of what this admin has been doing.
