Perhaps McCain's biggest mistake was not choosing this guy as his running mate if he (Crist) was willing to do it. Crist helped get him Florida in the primaries which turned things around for McCain when people were writing him off.

Maybe Crist turned him down because he wants to run for President himself in 2012 or 2016, or maybe McCain's judgment was just terrible.
 
I really expected McCain to choose Crist as a running mate. As a dem and a Floridian, I have a lotta respect for the guy...

I disagree with the guy on some issues but I also have a lot of respect for him.

Dunno much about Crist. Maybe he just saw it as the right thing to do. If so, credit where credit is due.
 
Charlie Crist is the only RED I have voted for in 14 years. He's really a DEM. But he probably is gay too. You know, I don't think that is a disqualifier. But I can see McCain would have a VERY Big Problem with all that.

Charlie is marrying his Beard in December. So he can be vetted in 2012. He WILL go the Distance.
