Hey all... I'm an avid fan of using Alt+ combinations to get characters like © ¡ « ° etc, but today for the first time I needed to know the code for a certain character, so I checked out the Character Map. However I noticed something different than what I'm used to.. in the "old days" when you selected a character that you wanted, in the status of the program it would show what you needed to press in order to get the key, such as Alt+0169 or whatever. Anyway, now I look in the Windows XP character map and when I go to the © symbol to see what the key combination is, this is what the status bar says: 0xA9
Is there any way to make it go back to the old style? Or, is there a way to interpret these codes so that I can get the number from them? Thanks, someone help me out
