god, I'm soo glad for the new line-up on sunday nights on comedy central. Chappelle's show, mind of mencia and reno 911. Not many ppl realize it, but Reno is one of the funniest show on televison hands down. You gotta love shorts shorts, and just the cluelessness those guys use to run the town. IT's ridiculous...

It'll be interesting to see how chappelle's continues without chappelle himself. I wonder how many episodes they have to air... either way, i'm off to watch the comedy central, and you know what, you should be too...

BTW, what an end for Zidane for those who watch the world cup. It was sorta disappointing.. but still a great player non the less.

Episode was alright. I liked the Tupac skit. The other ones seemed to be subliminally crapping on Dave. Looked like Charlie Murphy and the other guy were just there to try to capitalize on Dave's fame.

definitely the tupac skit was funny as hell. I can't wait to get the song somehow somewhere.. it was alright overall..
 
Episode was better than i expected it would be. People are going to put unfair expectations on this season i have a feeling.

I still don't get what Chappelle's problem was or what happened. Not too many comedians have that kind of gift, and he walked away from a LOT of money.

Chappelle's 'The only living black White Supremecist' is one of the funniest and original skits I've ever seen.

He's a greedy mofo who wasn't satisfied w/ the money offered. Well, fvck him. I hope he never gets another break. He ain't all that funny anyway.

He's still getting paid. He gets paid everytime CC shows the Chappelle Show. He gets paid for every DVD sold. He gets paid for all the other merchandise. If I remember correctly, he is still getting paid off that contract but he is unable to do any other kind of work on TV while still taking money off that contract.

CC hopes to get Chappelle back so they are still paying him.

And Chappelle is laughing to the bank.

You got it all wrong. Chappelle has explained himself already, just nobody listened. Don't know why anyone would say he wasn't satisfied with the money, he's never said anything of the sort. If anything he didn't liked being that highly paid.
 
he went crazy. didn't you see him on those talk shows trying to explain how he didnt go crazy? he fvcken just made himself look crazy.
 
i don't know what happened to dave either. it's safe to say that he would remain as one of the greates black comedians in this time tho'. I would def. like to see him come back to the Chappelle show but it sounds like he wouldn't. To be honest tho', the show was pretty funny without him.

Dave went crazy. I think that much is obvious to anyone who has tried to watch him explain how he really, seriously, totally didn't go crazy. The real question is why did Dave go crazy?

That said... this whole "lost season" thing is going to get Comedy Central a hell of a lot of money in commercial revenue. As far as I can tell, we get 2 minutes of skit and 5 damn minutes of commercial.

The closest parallel that I can think of is musical in nature: it's like they took a bunch of B-side tracks and released them as an album. We're all pissed because it's not amazing, but if it was amazing, it would've been on the album (show) to begin with.

There's going to be some interesting stuff on there but, overall, I very much doubt it's going to match the quality and the funiness of the first two seasons.
