Changing System Properties Registration?

When viewing the System Properties window, where it shows the System, who it's registered to, and the Computer itself, is it possible to edit those settings? I am selling a computer, but don't want to reformat if I can merely delete my files and let them have it. I simply don't want my name and my business listed on their computer when they get it.

Click on the Start button, then Run. Type regedit and click OK or press Enter.

In the Registry Editor, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion.

Right Click on the RegisteredOwner line on the right and select Modify. Remove the name (or change it to the new owner) and click OK. Do the same with the RegisteredOrganization line.
