can i pick up a sim card at 7/11 or some grocery store?

If I cannot find one around the block where else can i also keep an eye on?

is it as simple as buy - pop it in - chance the band frequency to (900?)

and then start dialing as if I'm a local person?

or call TMOBILE first (my carrier)

I am not sure can you buy a pre-paid on at 7-11, but I do know you can buy one of those from Orange (1800 and 900) Sunday (900) or Smartone (1800 900).

and yes, pop the sim in and the phone should work immediately (assuming you phone is triband)

how long you are gonna be there?

Yep, when i did it 2 years ago they were very cool about it. Took em 2 days to get back to me but it cost me nothing.

andy, this time i'm only spending about 10 days there...

i just heard though they got conventions going on... or wrapping up...

what's meant by getting tmobile to unlock, my phone is not a locked phone... are we talking about the same 'lock' term?
