I've been using the same razor/shaver/whatthefsckever for the past year ATLEAST and it was getting really difficult to shave, cutting very few hairs and I would have to go over the same spot multiple times just to cut a few more hairs. Well today I said fsck it, my face was feeling raw and I wasn't cutting anything, so I pull out a new razor and wow, man does it feel nice. It cut all the hairs on my face in only a few strokes.. Now my face feels smooth and comfortable unlike the past few weeks where I never got a close shave..

:)

How the hell have you only used ONE razor to shave for a YEAR? What are you, twelve years old?

I have to change razors about every 6-7 days, else they start ripping the hair out instead of cutting.

I actually prefer a 1-2 day old razor to a brand new one. Brand new can leave me w/razor burn sometimes.

I just put a new razor on the other day, one of the ones with the little blue strip on them, pretty slick. Expensive mofo's though :S

I don't see how it can pull out hairs.. It just wouldn't cut.... I attempt to sharpen it and clean it, make it last longer but eh..

Do you use a straight razor or something? Would seem to be pretty hard to do on a regular cartridge.

When it cuts just enough to grab onto the hair but not enough to get all the way through.

I buy disposable razors, those Gillette tips are such a ripoff! I go through about one razor a month.
