Changing my brand new dell XPS 13 ssd to Samsung Evo

Hi guys. I just got the new dell XPS 13 laptop. It is a nice laptop. I want to know if it is worth it to change its original ssd (Samsung PM851 M.2) like I see in device manager to the
the Samsung SSD 850 EVO M.2 recently reviewed here at anandtech.com.

The laptop isn't bad, but I can tell it is slower than my previous one which was a monster (i7 + 16GB Ram + 256GB Samsung SSD 840 pro + dedicated graphics).

Couldn't find reviews about PM851 to compare. I'll post my HD tune results.

Thanks.

you wouldn't notice one bit of a difference other than in benchmarks. I don't even notice a difference between a single SSD vs the 3 1TB SSDs I have no in RAID 0 (check my signature)

Once you surpass a certain speed in a drive, you won't notice anything more in real life other than in benchmarks

Upgrading an SSD should only be if you want to get a bigger size not more speed as it just isn't worth it

I have the same laptop and I wouldn't bother unless you need more storage or if its a PCe SSD.

I see. It is like I expected. Seems like the speed difference I'm noticing is due to other parts differences.

Thanks
