changing mouse frequency?

go to control panel, check the advanced setting tab under mouse properties. only available for ps2/2 mice, usb counterparts seem fine without the adjustment according to the other thread. also, AFAIK, simply unchecking 'enhance mouse precision' is not enough to turn off mouse acceleration. google for a registry entry that does it for you. that depends on your preference, i prefer having it off for first person shooters.
