Changing default camera software.

I didn't know where to put this (cat), but anyway.. When I fire up my cam it will auto launch MS Imaging (well would till i removed it). I was wondering if theres a way to change the default program windows runs when it sees a camera pop up (thers gotta be a way..) I did some google searching, web and groups..didn't find anything really. I just have this program Downloader from www.breezesys.com. All it does it d/l the images, delete them and close. I'd like to have it all automated so I don't have to actually run the prog, theres gotta be a way to do this... If any one can help on this matter it'd be greatly appreciated.

Ok, so I found some more info on their site, although it only pertains to windows XP, and I'm running 2k.. haven't found anything on it for 2k.

ok, so i somewhat figured it out. after i read into the "help" some more. control panel -> scanners & cameras, get properties on the camera, click events tab. I didn't have any other programs to choose from (such as Downloader). I just selected the "disable events..." and am happy w/ that for the time being (at least no error pops up now 😛). Ok, sorry for possibly such a useless thread..but maybe someone will get help from it..maybe not.

See what lack of sleep does, effects ones brain. lol

Many cameras show up as a drive, just like your HD.
How about yours?

i hate those auto-events. i disabled all those sorts of things on my computer but it took a powertoy to do it.

I'm not sure if it shows as a drive, I know a lot do. I don't wanna do it that way tho, this Downloader program is nice for me, I can automate everything.
