Changing CTRL-F boot delay on RAID modded A7V

I've modded my A7V to change the normal controller to a RAID controller. My boot process is really slowed down by the long "Press Control-F to enter config..." message. A guy named Rob posted (in alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.asus) a way to edit the BIOS of the RAID controller on an A7V133, to reduce this delay. I wondered if anyone had any hints as to how I could work out what to modify in the BIOS of my RAID controller, to change the delay?

I'm fairly experienced with mucking about with the insides of PCs, but have very little programming/hex-editing experience...

TIA,

Calum
