Changing Channels in 4.1 system ie: Rear Channels to Right Channel PICS

First of all you should check out my perfectly to scale blueprint of my room: My Room! 😉

So here is the story, I want to watch movies on the TV from my PC. The problem is I will be hearing the rear channels on my right and the front channels on my left. I was curious if there is any way I can change the channels temporarily. I could change the wires manually, but it'd be a b*tch. Running XP with built-in sound from my Epox 8k7a at the moment. I'd probably need a nice sound card to do it, ya? I can get a sound card, that's not that big of a deal. Appreciate any input you guys have. Even posts laughing at how I am using 4.1 speakers with built-in sound 😛 A bumps a bump.

Make yourself a little switch box, simplest way I see is to get four switches, connect the computer audio out to the switch and then run two sets of wires to the speakers, the first position would be standard rear is rear setup and the switched position would be the rear is right front is left.

Do the switch thing. Don't think any SB mfgr caters to this situation.
Also, the switch should be dirt cheap and reliable.

heh, where can I find such a switch? Looked around radioshack.com and didn't see any switches with 8 channels

Radioshack stores often carry more stuff than the website.

Also check local electical supply stores that cater to the commercial side of life.

You will probably have to do some slicing and splicing. If you're not into that,
then move the furniture! 😉

infront of my closet 😛
