Changing Boot Manager? ::::

Right now I have LILO doing the dual-boot of XP & Linux.

Was wondering if I could have the MBR using the XP boot manager instead?

What I"m asking is, can i change this at this point>?

Yes you can!!!

You need to read the a few faqs, but basically you need to get a boot image
file from the linux partition, stuff it on your XP partition. Then you repair the MBR
with the XP cd, and add a line for the boot image file in your XP's boot.ini!

.... if someone want's they will give all the steps... I will only point the direction!

Yes, you can change your boot manager to XP. It's considerably more work than installing LILO, in my opinion.

You could also consider installing GRUB.

Is there a better "menu" @ the beginning? OR can i change LILO?

I don't like having to type in what I want to boot...

instead, i'd prefer a numerical menu (1 or 2) to boot up either XP or Linux.............

can I change lilo to do this?
