I'll stay off topic for one last post 😉 I just realized I'm probably one of the worst offenders of keeping an old mobo. One of the kids PC's is an ancient ASUS P/I-P55T2P4 HX chipset socket 7 system. It went from a P133 -> P200 -> P233 -> AMD K6-3+ 450. It has 128 meg ram, a Promise U66 controller, 7200 RPM drive and a Voodoo3 PCI. Not bad for a 4 year old kid. My 7 year old kids PC is an ABIT BH6 that went from a C300A @ 450 to a C1000 @ 1120, 256 meg ram, GF2 GTS, also Promise U66 card and a 7200 RPM drive. So, don't listen to me. I need to practice what I preach!!

Elitegroup K7S6A now with overclocking and 333MHz DDR-RAM support
It's one of the fastest motherboard and very cheap but don't forget a Bios-Update!

Thanks alot guys.

I must admitt, that my selection was on the SOLTEK SL-75DRV4 due to all the good things I have heard about the SL-75DRV2 . The change between the SL-75DRV4 and the SL-75DRV2 is the ATA 100 and ATA 133. Which is only to the better

But by reading all your replyies I am now leaning more to EPOX EP-8KHA+.

Still confused though.
