Changed to a Northwood Processor in my Inspiron 9100 Laptop

Long story short, I was sick of the fan noise and high temps from my Prescott in my I9100 in my sig. So I got a 3.0 Northy from a guy here online (thanks Big Lar), and instgalled it. My temps dropped by 12 degrees C across the board, and the fans are hardly ever on and if so they are on low. Needless to say the difference is enormous. There is actually 2+ hours of battery life now, and I can have this on my lap. It may be big and bulky, but with the added battery life and a lot less fan noise it has become a much better portable DTR.
