Alright, I admit it, I used to help Ars Technica. No longer. I have just switched my Seti efforts to TA and plan to keep it that way! I am also going in for Gamma Flux, since it has a bearing on what I do.

Knowing that, someone give me some quick advice. I have 2 PCs to do this with. My home and work PCs. Home is a Duron 650@800 & work is a PIII 450. Which one would be best for SETI? Which one for Gamma?

The Duron is going to be excellent at all the projects. The P3's have lost their edge in SETI now that the 3.x SETI client is out, so I would use the P3 for Gamma Flux, and the Duron for SETI.

if I would you id put the duron on SETI and the P3 on Gamma 😀 hope that helps. our seti team needs all the help we can get at the moment and the gamma team is sorta helpless because of team process tree and the enormas amount of power they have behind them.

Thanks for the encouragement fellas! I switched from Ars to here b/c they have had more than enough of my cpu input and they have PLENTY of people helping the lambs. Furthermore, I think Anand runs a better site and I want to help out however i can!

I need some help with GF: I d/led the client and that is all fine. I am unable to sign up as a volunteer on their website (http://www.dcypher.net). Everytime I fill out the data and press submit, I get a 'page cannot be found error'!

Someone below mentioned emailing chris@dcypher.net to be added. Is that the correct procedure?

I will start with GF wednesday at work (skipping tomorrow...muhahahaha!)

They locked down the teamanandtech membership because of all the cheaters joining our team. Chris said new members would have to be added manually.
