Anandtech forbids the use of multiple user names. They log ips and if they find out you have two or more, you're banned for good.

So two or more people from the same household can't register and post at AnandTech ? That sux. :disgust:

 
I'd bet that if he registers a new name and stops using the old one, that the mods shouldn't have a problem with it. Might just want to ask about it first though. Also, How can IP logging do anything if he has a dynamic IP?
