Change rooted device ID

I have 2 Nook Color's that Ive rooted to the latest CM10 nightly. They both work fine but both show up on Google play as "BN Nook Color". When Im logged into my laptop and wish to remotely install an app, I don't know which one is which, so I was wondering if I could change the device ID so that they would each be unique?

Google Play website > gear button > My Orders and Settings > Settings > click on device name > change it > click "Update" on the right side of the row
