Hello,

Is there any problem if I change the resolution of a LCD monitor (Samsung 750B in my case) to a lower resolution? (ex. change from 1280x1024 to 1024x768).

Can this cause damage to the monitor in long term and reduce its life?

It won't affect the monitor on the hardware level, but it will make everything look like ass. unless you have 1:1 pixel mapping support.
