i went to some purse forum and verified that it is indeed fake.

now, since i know nothing of purses and my sister is incredibly stupid and gullible, that is how i got into this situation.

i told her that there was no way she got a $1000+ purse for $20. I have no idea where she got it originally, but come on...

Yes, selling knock off products is illegal. Doesn't matter if you list it as fake or add a zillion disclaimers. Ebay will remove it.

Off shore and out of jurisdiction of the US government/a government that cares about this type of thing. Just as there are thousands warez websites out there that aren't getting shut down. Ebay on the other hand will most definitely care if you try and list it. If you really want to sell it you can probably get away with doing it locally without anyone caring.

7 billion people in the world, 300+ million in the US. There's plenty of customers out there that won't have problems with customs confiscating it.
