I was a little surprised that Chan Ho Park is still playing, but finding out his salary is larger than the entire Florida Marlins team is surprising.

His Salary this year is $15,333,679

The Florida Marlins payroll for their team is less than 15 mililion

wtf, the marlins' payroll is only 14 mil? that can't be right... no wonder i don't watch baseball anymore!

Less than 15 mil for the entire team?? Damn...how cheap can you get.

why are you surprised he's still playing?

he's only 32.

heck Julio Franco is still playing. the guy is 47. He started when many of the Oakland As players are still in diapers or just barely got out of them.

That's how they do it...

1. Spend big money
2. Win a World Series
3. Fire sale - Trade away all the good players
4. Scale payroll back to nothing
5. Suffer for a few years
6. Repeat

It's worked twice so far.

him and ryan klesko kill the fvcking pads payroll

next year, we will be able to binge on free agents tho...

The Marlins have never lost a playoff series. How could that happen?
