Yea, the Rams line was making JG pretty miserable at the end there, Niners still had a shot though, dropping that Stafford gift that hit the DB on the numbers didn't help

In all fairness, Ramsey dropped an easy pick as well...right in the numbers.

I was kind of disappointed in Aaron Donald's performance today. Sure, he put a lot of pressure on the o-line and kept Jimmy G moving...but he never sacked him...not once.

Tom Grossi enters the mind of Chiefs' fans feelings week-by-week.

Also, 13 seconds was relevant in this game too. 13 seconds into OT, and he tosses that pick.

True, but he usually draws a double team and that allows others to have a much better chance of getting pressure.

That Ramsey drop was at his helmet, and he had to leap and stretch to get it. Not that he shouldn't have caught it where he was, but he still had to work for it and it wasn't dead aimed at him, like the one that Stafford threw.

If I was a 49'er fan I'd be so upset right now.... they REALLY need a QB.

However while that game didn't quite measure up to the AFC match, it was still a lot of fun to watch! (unless of course you're a SF fan!!)

:D
They have their QB of the future he just wasn't playing.

Jimmy G will be gone next year and Trey Lance will be starting.

Meh. I am disappointed but I said at the beginning of the year I thought we would just make it to the wild card game. Then I started to think we wouldn't make it. Then we did. Then we made it all the way to the NFC championship game.

I would call that a successful season and I can only see things looking better next year.

Niners are the only team that almost make the superbowl and are looking to dump their QB. I bet the steelers would be happy to take him considering their current options.

The Niners got that far not because of their QB, but in spite of their QB. In the playoffs, they scored 23, 13, and 17. And that is including a defensive TD.

Jimmy G sucks and that is exactly why WFT is going to make a play for him.

Because WFT.

I think Fitzpatrick and Heinicke already play like Jimmy G for a fraction of the price and are a little more fun.

And anyway, 2.2.22 is the day WFT no longer applies. Lord knows what abominable name they have picked.

If Brady really does retire, Fitzmagic will be the oldest active QB in the NFL. And Jimmy G will become the only active QB with multiple rings. I don't really have a point here, just spouting trivial nonsense.

LOL now i'm sad to have missed this on TV, because i thought joe buck was as bad as it could get
Joe Buck is as bad as it gets; he's so clueless at football it hurts to listen to. Although yesterday wasn't Romo's finest hours, I'm shocked that KentState would say Romo is below Joe Buck LOL.

The best thing you can say about Buck is he sounds like an announcer. The worst thing you can say about Romo is he sounds like a high school freshman.

It just reinforces my criticism over how the whole relocation worked for everyone: The only team that really needed to move to LA, was the Raiders. Neither the Rams nor the Chargers really have a solid fan base that was so dedicated, and actually remained in all the years of their absence. It's always been a Raiders town, and I wouldn't be surprised if it still isn't.

Things would be so different in terms of market, but well, it's still different organizations. Raiders ownership has been super sketchy since Big Al sailed away. scarfaced son is kinda...eh. no. I don't think he's at all interested in that kind of history. and of course, I don't think billionaire modern sports owner bros with their luxury box-buying young tech bro jerks are really interested in attracting that LA Raiders fan base to their new fancy stadium, you know what I mean?
Although true now, it could change if the Rams win the Super Bowl in 2 weeks. Angelenos are notorious fair-weather fans so they will jump onto the bandwagon if "their team" are champions.

Speaking of Al Davis, he's in the Hall of Fame for all-time self-pwnage. After the Rams had moved to St. F*king Louis, Al had SoCal all to himself. Instead, he picked up and moved his team to the Oakland Coliseum.

I'm not a fan of either one of them but I agree Joe Buck is the worst.
