The money Stormy Daniels was ordered to pay Trump was for legal expenses incurred when she sued him for slander.
The judge essentially said that Trump lies so incredibly often that no reasonable person would believe anything he says and thus it's not slander.
Then again, every single person in this nation knows that the people who support and believe Trump aren't even remotely reasonable.
