I have a Chaintech VNF4 939 mobo. It says on the front of the motherboard box:
"HyperTransport bandwith allows for up to a 1 gigaherz (2000MT/S) CPU-Northbridge link"
Now I go look at the 4200+ 939 processor at newegg and I see the it lists the HyperTransport at 2000MHZ.
So does this mean I can't use it (or will have to use the chip at only half its rated speed since I only have 1/2 of the 2000MHZ available?
Any workarounds? Or if there are none what is the best chip I can get in my 939?
Thanks alot.
