Chaintech & EVGA GF4's?

I havent heard much about these companies. Their GF4's have some of the best prices. Do these fall under you get what you pay for? Or do they have a good rep for graphics cards?

Chaintech and eVGA usually produce basic no frills cards.
If all you want is GF4 performance with only the basic features, and limited overclockability and average 2D then their probably fine for you.
The quality of manufacture is reasonably good on their boards, so they don't tend to fail overly much either.

If you want something beyond the bare minimum GF4 capabilities though, your probably better off with another manufacturer.

I would pay a little more for a card with a better warranty. Visiontek and PNY offer lifetime warranties so you will be covered.

Can't remember much on Chaintek, but there was a shootout on Geforce 4's in the anandtech news on 3/28. got to that date, check out the comparisons, and decide for yourself. At first I was going to go for the Gainward, then decided to go for the Visiontek instead.
