Chaintech CT-SKT600 HELP!

Ok, after installation of windows xp to a friends computer, I take out the driver cd that came with the chaintech ct-skt600 motherboard. after installation and reboot of each driver, i get down to making sure everything is working properly. i find that there is no usb support and also the onboard ethernet does not work. i checked the site. downloaded all new drivers. uninstalled all old drivers= reboot. installed new drivers= reboot. everything is still messed up; no usb, no ethernet. i can't figure it out. no telling what else isn't working. win xp acts like everything is 'ok'. it's got me so confused. can anyone share some info/advice. thanks!
Here is a link for the motherboard specifications.

1] USB - firstly - have you wired them in correctly - if you are using the front headers. Is USB enabled in BIOS?
2] Ethernet - is the onboard ethernet enabled in BIOS?

What does the Device Manager say about both of these
