Chaintech 7NJL6 Problem

I am building a system with a Chaintech 7NJL6 motherboard. I have the motherboard installed together with the memory, video card, 2 case fans, CPU and CPU cooling fan. I wanted to test the system before final assembly. When the power turns on, there are no beeps, the fans start running, but after about three or four seconds everything shuts down. After waiting for a while (and I think pressing the reset button on the case) this sequence can be repeated. I have no idea what is wrong, although I don't think it is the processor. It happens with either a Duron 1.8 GHz or a Sempron 3000+ CPU installed.

Any help/advice appreciated.

It does sound like the CPU is overheating, check that the fan is working after you verify that the heatsink is seated correctly

Turns out the problem was not enough thermal grease. When I added more it started working fine.
